Well been hacking on the site a bit more. Trying to get everything looking the way I want it to. I added a Paypal donation link over there on the left and a little ad for Firefox to the right. Also I have been hacking on the code that controls how the posts in the blog look. Now I am trying to figure out how to make it so the permalink link is on the same line as the title. The link use to be the post’s title text but I didn’t like that so I changed it.

I also had to hack on the Paypal donation widget a bit to make it act the way I wanted. I found two different Paypal plug-ins for WordPress one that was a widget and one that wasn’t. The widget worked great by had little control functionality and no options to change its looks. The other had more control and options but wasn’t a widget. So I hacked on the widget. I like using widgets because if I want to change things up a bit there is no coding involved just move the widgets around in the UI and click done. So I think that may be my first WordPress project. Now that I got more of a hang on how WordPress widgets work I could hack the two plug-ins together so that I have all the options in a widget form.
