Gundam RX-78 GP02A update Ver 2.0
Well things have been moving along fine and I am nearing completion of the construction faze.
The arms took alot of time to construct there is a whole lot of pieces that make them up. Fitting them on with the shoulder pieces is a bit of a trick as there is not a lot of clearance in there.
With the binders attached it is really starting to look like a Gundam now. The backpack don’t stay on to well at the moment but that’s ok as it would need to be removed for painting anyway. Speaking of paint I could have sworn that HLJ had it in stock when I ordered it last week but now it is list a backordered so painting may be delayed but I have found something else to keep me busy just in case.
For my birthday my Dad got me an air tank and gave my his unused airbrush so will have to get some practice in with that before I go to work on the model. Nice thing is that the manual that came with the air bush has some practice exercises to help me learn how to control it. Will have to make a run to a hobby store in the next couple of week to gather supplies. Going to try the one in south of me this time I have heard good things about it, all the ones to the north are main RC supplies that dabble in models as well. So with any luck should have him all together in the next couple of day or so.
