Feather pillows we dont sell no feather pillows
Ok so my feather pillow rips on me the other night, luckily it ripped on the closed end of the pillow case so no feathers all over the room. I figure ok no big deal it was getting old and needed replacing anyway. So, I go downtown to Wal-mart to get me a new one. Now normally I avoid shopping at Wal-mart, I only go there if there is no other place in town that has what I need. The downside is that basically Wal-mart is the only major retailer of any kind in the town I live in. To shop at any other store like a Target, Shopko, JCPenny’s means a 45 mile one way trip either to the north or south.
So I head over to the bedding section and start looking for a nice feather pillow but what do I see. Foam pillows of all shapes and sizes, and a weird then called a ‘hypoallergenic feather like’ pillow with ‘feather substitute puff balls’, but not one damm feather pillow. At first I thought I was just overlooking them, but nope not one damm feather pillow in the whole damm store. Well I need that pillow so I could sleep that night ,and I didn’t have the two hours to spare to go to a good store just for a pillow, so bought one of their ‘feather substitute puff ball’ pillows. I don’t know who they are kidding the puff balls are no ‘feather substitute’. The puff balls are as close to feathers as a bag of rags they just not the same. I don’t see what the big deal is about a darn feather pillow it not like the feathers are coming from some an endangered species or something. It cant be price I have found feather pillows online for about the same price I bought my ‘puff ball’ pillow for. So why cant Wal-mart carry a damm feather pillow.
Oh, and the kicker to this whole mess, two weeks later my ‘puff ball’ pillow bursts a seam.
