I am a little behind on blogging Claymore. Episode 12 came out Wednesday the 20th so the next few reviews may be quick and dirty. So here we go…So the group of four are up against a male Awakened Being and thing don’t look so good for our girls. Meanwhile one of the higher ups in the Organization is keeping tabs on the fight from far off with the help of another Claymore whose ability to sense yoki is the best there is. So if all Claymores are female how can there be a male Awakened Being, well turns out in the early days that there where both male and female warriors but while the males were quite effective and stronger on average then the females. The downside to the male warriors is that the act of releasing their yoma powers gave them a almost sexual pleasure and so they went beyond their limit must more quickly then the females.

So the fight is not going so well with the Awakened Being getting some good hits in early but our girls show some amazing strength and abilities. These abilities number six notices are only possible when a Claymore is on the edge of her limit yet they use them almost casually in battle. Well the Awakened Being gets tired teasing the girls and quickly puts down Clare, Helen, and, Deneve leaving Miria the only one standing so that He can show them true despair. That’s when Miria pulls out all the stops and shows her ability, it seem that for just a split second she can hit warp speed. Moving faster then light as its advantages and ghost image is left behind leaving your opponent open for attack.
Well things go alright for a while but soon even Miria comes to her limit and He, like a cat starts playing with his prey. When much to every one’s amazement Clare get up and starts walking towards him even with her massive wounds. So He decides to kill her now and play with the others later but much to His suprise He is unable to hit her at all. It seem our girl Clare is pulling a Teresa of the Faint Smile on him and is reading the flow of the yoki reading his attacks even before He makes them. Over I like where the story is heading but like alot of anime we get the whole lets all stand around and talk in the middle of a fight biz. While not a bad as DBZ it does get to be a bit much every now and then. There is also hint in this episode that the girls were sent not to kill the Awakened Being but to be killed by him, also there might be more to our little group of four then meets the eye.
