My New Music obsession is a neat little group by the name of Abney Park its kind of hard to describe their sound kind of a dark rock with world sound influences. The band has a gaslamp fantasy, Jules Vern motif going which explains that I hear about them from Kaja Foglio’s Livejournal. For those of you how don’t know Kaja Foglio is half of the creative team behind Girl Genius . Anyway check out Abney Park their web site has sample tracks you can download so it wont cost you nothing.
