Claymore Episode 11

26 June, 2007 (19:56) | Anime, Reviews

Well this week is quick fast a dirty review so here we go. Very little action in episode 11 mainly talking heads so not much got done but a lot of plot exposition.

It turns out all four of our girls have had a time in their past where they went beyond their limits but didn’t turn into Awakened Beings. Also all four are what could be called problem children either not getting along with other Claymores, their bosses or humans. It is again hinted that the four were sent on the hunt for the male Awakened Being not to kill it but to be killed by it as all other Claymores that have gone into the mountains have never returned.
The four decide to keep what they suspect to themselves while number 6 investigates more in to what the organization is really up to. But before they go their separate ways number 6 warns them that while their powers may have greatly expanded since their near Awakening that they would still be no match for the top five. Most of all they should avoid any contact with number 4. It seams that 4 is a bit on the nutty side and has a real thing for killing Awakened Beings.

I like where the series is heading, many questions have been raised but few answers have been forth coming. What is the organization really up too, did they really send our four girls to be killed, why don’t they take more of an active role in protecting humans from the Awakened Ones, and most of all what is their real goal, cause from what I have seen so far it is not to protect humans from Yoma.
