Well Clare is on the run from little Miss Crazy Girl who catches up when Clare come to a screeching halt at the edge of a cliff. (You just know that someone is going to go over the edge.) For a while Clare put up a good fight using her yoki reading trick but Ophelia has got a trick of her own.
Ophelia’s shimmering blade trick works wells against Clare’s reading ability and Clare is once again on the defensive. On her last ditch full frontal assault Clare looses an arm and take a good slash to the chest, falling off the cliff (see told you it was coming.) But, it turns out that this was all to Clare’s plan to make Ophelia think she killed her then get away. Too bad it didn’t work Ophelia figured out the trick cause Clare would give up on losing the arm so she could reattach it later. Seem our girl Clare is of the type of warrior that can only reattach lost body parts and not regrow them and to make sure Clare learns her lesson Ophelia goes Ginsu on the severd limb chopping it in to little titty-bitty pieces. Then when all seams lost a mysterious stranger appears and make short work of Ophelia with what looks like inviable sword strikes. It’s none other then Flash Sword Irene.

So Irene saves Clare’s butt and takes her back to her cabin where she has been living hiding her yoki and the fact she is alive from the organization. Irene has also lost an arm and after a bit of a heart to heart with Clare decides to teach her the Flash Sword. Meanwhile poor crazy Ophelia is not doing so well being quite wounded and not in the best of mental health goes Awakened Being on us by the looks of things.
Well Clare is growing again and learning a new technice can only help her in her quest to kill Priscilla. While the direction that the current arc is taking is not unforeseen how they are getting there is. I am just wondering how much of a time jump we will have before Clare and Raki meet again. Of course we all know who the next enemy will be, Ophelia.
