Well the site is back up and running. Still have a few more things to fix so please excuse the broken links. The software reinstall fixed two of the three problem that I was having with the blog. The third problem is with a plug-in, so don’t know when that will be fixed.

It took a lot longer for the reinstall then I thought it would. One of the plug-ins I used had created quite a large number of cache files and as I don’t have shell access to the server I am using it took quite some time to delete all the files via ftp. Don’t know why the plug-in was not cleaning up after itself but it was beta software so hopefully the coder will have it fixed in later versions.

Now that I have my problem somewhat fixed I need to get back to work on making the blog better. I am a bit behind on Claymore episode 17 came out this week and I am still stuck on 13. I also plan to start working on a more custom theme for the site making it look nicer then it is now. Originally my plan was to install a theme switcher and use that for testing but it still had the downside of having to ftp the file every time I wanted to test a change. Then it hit me I can just install a test bed on my computer, Apache, PHP and MySQL all have Windows version that I could use and it will make thing a lot easier and quicker. I also picked up a few books on PHP and CSS programing and a couple on Amazon Web Services in order to add more features to the site and hopefully make a little money in the process. I am not looking to get rich here but if it could swing enough money my way to afford a long trip to Japan I wouldn’t complain.
