Well looks like we jumped ahead 3 months from the end of the last episode, and we get our first look at the leader of the organization that ‘control’ the Claymores. The man in black has not seen hide nor hair of our girl Clare thou they have found the remain of the Awakened Ophelia. The leaders think that Clare may still be alive and send one of Ermita’s girls to find her.
Mean while Clare has desiguised herself as a young man and is looking for her ‘brother’ Raki, but she is not having to much luck. Then her luck goes from bad to worse as the town she is spending the night in turns out to be the meeting place for an Awakened Being hunt, and even with her magic little yoki suppressing pills the leader of the pack gets the feeling that she is being watched. But, Clare doesn’t have to be concerned about the group for long as they leave early the next day on their hunt.Clare’s luck finally improves as she comes across someone who has seen Raki. That’s the good news, the bad news is that is was ten days ago and no one knows which way he left town. Then thins go from bad to worse as one of the girls from the hunt squad show up battered and torn with half her body missing. The torn up begs for help, for someone to get word to the organization because the other in her group are still alive.

Well Clare can’t let an Awakened Being alone and heads out to join the hunt. Meanwhile a tough looking male Awakened Being is torturing the captured Claymore under the direction of a very young looking girl. The girl want the captured Claymores to ‘hurry up and Awaken so they can be friends.’ But even when the low ranked Claymore Awakens she is quick to order her destruction because she is too weak.As Clare get near the location of the others she is confronted by a group of men warning her of danger and she should turn back. Clare see through their disguises thou and quickly dispatches several of the Yoma. The other quickly transform and attack but in a manner unusual for Yoma their attacks are quite coordinated, something very weird is going on here. As Clare approaches the entrance her presences is noted buy the little girl and she send the beasty guy out to kill her, cause anyone with that small of yoki is not worth trying to Awaken.

So Claymore there we have the start of another mulit-part story, Clare’s and Raki’s reunion will just have to wait till after the fight that is coming it seems. How will Clare be able to stand up to two Awakened Ones on her own even with her new Flash Sword. Will she be able to rescue the last surviver of the hunting party.
