Well we got an early start to day and made it all the way through Utah and a good way in to Colorado. We left Elko about 5:30 with Dad driving. Stopped at West Wendover of McBreakfast and I took over behind the wheel. When we crossed in to Utah we lost an hour do to the change in time zones. The highway then went dead straight for about 50 miles as we headed towards The Great Salt Lake. All you could see was the mountains in the far distance and salt flats everywhere else. We got through Salt Lake City just fine traffic was light but then again it was 10:00 local time on a Sunday in the middle of Mormon country.

The trip down US-6 made for a nice change of pace though it was bit twisty turny at time and only two or three lanes for most of the way. We still made good time, because of that we went a little farther then we orginaly planed and went on to Gleenwood Springs. So we are not too far from Aspen.

Kind of tired so going to call it a night but will leave you with the pictures of the day.
