The Spectacular Spider-Man The Animated Series
Spiderman is getting a new animated TV series as part of the KidsWB block on The CW network starting in March of 2008. The new series is getting the anime inspired look similar to Teen Titans. Buy the looks of the trailer all the old Spidey villains will be making appearances. They have made a few changes tho, instead of being in college Peter Parker is now a sixteen year old high school junior, so we are sure to have some drama along with our Spidey action. The first episode arc will feature Vulture, Hammerhead, The Enforcers, and Electro. For those I grew up watching the old Spiderman series in syndication it is going to be good to see some of the old villains again, thou I doubt that they will any of the weird trippy episodes that seemed to be the hallmark of the original 1967 series.
