Well here we are at the start of another New Year. Tis a time for reflections and to make a new start of things. So as to be the tradition around here at The Geek Review we (meaning I) will start off the New Year with a list of the resolutions.

So here we go. First, contunie the daily posting here on the blog, I think this one will not be too bad I have been keeping up with a post a night for the last month and a half. I also have plans for some more in depth post/articles that will help keep me on track.

Second, work on my Photography some more. I have had the owner of a local art gallery show interest in one of my photos, and I have has some ideas of others so we will see how that goes.

Third, get my weight down to the 200-210 range that was the plan last year. I did have some success last year but then I back slid, so will start fresh first thing tomorrow.

Fourth, get my room organized once and for all, I made some headway last year so now is the time to finish it off. Mom and Dad are planing to take a trip again this year and my plan it to use that week and do a second purge like I did before.

Fifth, work on the Japanese didn’t touch this one at all last year so hopefully will have a bit more luck this year. I have picked up the Rosetta Stone software trail and will install that this weekend, we’ll see how it work and may pick up the full version.

Sixth, and this one is kind of a biggie, look for a new job. Now don’t get me wrong I like the job I have now, but there really is not much of a future in it, as I really don’t want to go into retail management. I have a degree from CSU Chico in Computer Information Systems, but no real job experience in the computer field so I may be a bit hard to find something that pays enough to cover my bills and most likely a move as I doubt I can find anything local. So what would my Dream Job be?? Well I could always say the old cliche ‘Doing The Geek Review’ but I don’t see that happening any time soon Danny Choo I am not, or maybe a CGI effect guy, but I have even less experece/skill in that. So what is in the realm of the possible, Google has some entry level network tech jobs that would be a good start.

And finally start and maintain a To Do list/calendar, this should help me keep a bit more organized and hopefluly end the year with a better score then last time.

So Happy New Year Everyone.
