Newest iMacs
Apple has release the newest specs for their iMac series of computers. The iMac is Apples midpriced model of computers with prices starting at $1200 for the 20inch 2.4Ghz version up to $2200 for the 24inch 3.06Ghz version. When I was planing my Mac purchase I deside not to go with the iMac mainly because of the limited upgradeability inherit to the all in one design. Also for $600 more then the top iMac I got twice the number of processors and room to grow to the Terabytes worth of hard-drive space that I will need. But, that is not to say that the iMac is bad design for many people it’s all-in-one is the perfect solution for the limited space they want a computer to take up. For me an iMac would be a second computer that needed to fill a role in a room away from the main computer say as a kitchen computer.
