At this years Maker Faire there was a strong Steampunk contingent. With Jake vonSlatt of the Steampunk Workshop, Abney Park, Libby Bulloff of Exoskeletoncabaret, Magpie Killjoy of Steampunk Magazine and others making an appearance.

One of the highlights of the Steampunk presence. Was the life tapping of the Heather Gold Show. Her guest were Captain Robert of Abeny Park, Jake von Slatt, and Libby Bulloff. The talk was very interesting, part of show is up on Heather Gold’s site

The Neverwas Haul.

Unfortunately I missed most of the booths there were over in the Contraptor’s Lounge due in part cause I was trying to see as much of the Faire as I could and didn’t get over there till late in the day. If you want to see more Porkshanks over on Flicr has a lot of pics.

I forgot his name but this gentleman makes some nice looking ‘Jetpacks’.

Tommarow night in the Sixth and final part of the MakeFaire series Abeny Park, which was about 50-75% of the reason that I desided to go to the Faire.
