Well the night time at Maker Faire 2008 not only brought fire but also Abney Park. If you’ve read my blog before your sure to know that I am a big Abney Park fan, and they are 50% to 70% of the reason I went to Maker Faire.

I headed over to the main music stage quite early in order to get good seats and ended up catching a nice band, Culann’s Hounds. They are a strange mix of Irish Folk, Rock, and Punk. They play both tradtional Irish music and original songs.

To keep the audience from becoming restless between acts the had the Wheel of Mashups. The Wheel of Mashups is the invention of the ECC (Evolution Control Committee.) who for our listening pleasure committed Millions of Dollars of Copyright infringement.

The highlight of the night was of course Abney Park, who did a very energetic hour long set.
