Well I am sure most of you have seen the ads that are up here on the site and wonder can you really make money off of such things. Well I am here to tell you, that yes you can. Ok, it’s only 21 bucks but its a start. Danny Choo has a good post on what he calls Blog Monetization. It’s a good read for someone trying to figure out how to make a bit of money off of what is basically a hobby. I have actually earned a bit more then the $21 from J-list, but other programs such as Google Adsense and Amazon Affiliates require you to earn a higher amount before they pay you off.

Now what to do with the cash. I’ve decide to use it a seed money for “The Geeks Trip To Japan Fund”™ It may take a while to earn the funds as I figure a two week trip with ample spending cash would set me back at least $5k or so. It’s all part of the Path to Glory.
