Coming in August from Kotobukiya is everybody’s favorite Kendo girl Tama-chan from the anime, manga series Bamboo Blade. Tama-chan stands in at 17cm and 1/8 scale. She will retail for 5,775 yen. She is already up for pre-order at HLJ, Kidnemo, and J-list(though how J-list came up with their pricing is beyond me.)
I’ve watched maybe the first 3-4 episodes of Bamboo Blade, (I know I’m far behind) so far it’s kind of a mix of your typical sports anime and a harem comedy. Reminds me a bit of Eyeshield 21 with some of the charter designs. Tama-chan is an interesting charter a master swords-mistress but shy and not really interested in Kendo. Will be interesting to see how she changes.
