OrchidSeed’s Mizuho Kazami
Well I missed her when the first announcements were made but here she is the beautiful Mizuho Kazami. Mizuho Kazami that beautiful (dare we say sexy) Alien, highschool teacher that fulfills one lucky schoolboys fantasies. She is of course from the anime Please! Teacher. The series that is probably best know for getting US anime fans hooked on Pocky. Mizuho is brought to us by those kind folks over at OrchidSeed and is slated to come out next month at a price of 6,800 yen. At 1/7 scale she sits in at 10cm tall. She is still up for preorder at HLJ, Play Asia, Kidnemo, and Hobby Search. If it wasn’t for the fact that the July figure budget is already earmarked for Chua Churam I would be getting her.
Please! Teacher was one of the first digital FanSubs that I got. At the time I was getting most of my fansubs from a few of the last tape traders that were around. I was still on a dial up connection at the time, so it could take several days to download a single digital episode off of bittorent. Luckly I had friends that DSL and were into anime as well and they would burn stuff to cds of stuff as well.

I don’t know who did the sculpt but they really captured her well. This one just feels right. OrchidSeed’s production quality tends to be pretty good so I don’t think you have too much to worry about.

Preordered…I was kind of disappointed with their 1/7 at just 10cm though. Hopefully the final product will be as good as it seems in these pictures.
