New Photo Booth Setup

Spent a little time tonight working on the set up for then new photo booth set up. Will try and get some photos taken tomorrow night for weekend posting. Trying to remember where I got the the layout for this setup from. Found the link Happy Soda gives a good explanation of the ways and wherefores of set up and he always does great shoots. His Chu Chu shoot went up Sunday [nsfw].
The box to the right has had it’s bottom cut out and replaced with a piece of vellum, and is basically a poor man’s softbox and helps fills the shadows caused buy the upper light. Then to help balance that out you have the white box lid on the left acting as a reflector. From the couple of test shots that I’ve take it looks like it’s going to do a good job. I really need to get something better for the background thou the blue just isn’t cutting it.

Well I normally don’t have much time during the day for my hobbies so most of the stuff is done at night. The original light tent setup worked fine but left things a bit flat at times.

W00t you pulled a Super Rats! Congrats. Nice setup you done but I prefer outdoors though…not that you can do it at this time in your area currently.
Still indoors photoshoots are definitely more easily done. Like the background paper and that reminds me that I should get something like that. I usually use daylight through my window as a “reflector”. Room light sucks and can be used as hairlight while I already have an awesome lamp.
