Well looks like August and September are going to be bussing months for Haruhi fans as Freeing two new and two reissue figures. The figures are part of the Freeing’s Bunny ver series of figures. All figures are in a whopping 1/4 scale so even the shortest sitting figure is still over 20cm tall.
August is the light month with with the new Emiri Kimidori Bunny ver. being released. September sees the release of the new Ryouko Asakura Bunny ver. and the reissue of Haruhi Suzumiya Bunny ver. and Mikuru Asahina Bunny ver. The new figures will be retailing for 11,800 yen and the reissues for 9,800 yen. Now that may sound a bit pricey for a figure but you got to remember that they are 1/4 scale, and while that is only twice the height it’s 8 times the volume. (Aren’t exponentials fun. While I haven’t seen any of the reissues up for preorder yet they are sure to be up soon at Play-Asia , J-list, HLJ and the rest of the usual suspects soon.
I’m not a huge fan of the series but I’m half way thinking of getting the Haruhi figure.
