A Geeky Anniversary
Well today marks an important date in history. It was two years ago today that The Geek Review was launched. To celebrate Russell Crowe* brought cake, and The Geek Review got a new set of clothes. The new theme seems to be working out OK without breaking any of the older posts. I have checked it on a few browsers and it looks to be behaveing it’s self, but being only one person I’m sure I’ve missed something. So, if you see any weirdness let me know.
In the two years since it started the site has gone through five versions of Wordpress, 392 posts, and I think that this is my fifth or sixth theme. Average page views are running around 225 or so and spiking around 400. The spikes usual occur when I have a linked post from DannyChoo.com thou I’ve had spikes for seemly no reason at all.
So here’s to another year of Geekness hope you have as much fun as I am.
*Russell Crowe does not support or endorse The Geek Review and most likely doesn’t even know of it’s existence, thou it would be really cool if he did.

I am thinking that this theme may not last either. After viewing the CSS-Tricks screencasts I might just trying doing my own theme from the ground up.

Man, I’ve gotta get back into studying PHP and CSS… it’s been about 3 years since I touch any of that stuff. MY job right now is nothing but 10% design, 10% Art Director, 80% leg work. But their paying so I’m taking.
