Here’s an interesting figure from Goodsmile that is slated to come out in November. The figure is not base on any picturlar character but a player class from the MMORPG game Lineage II. The girl is Human Mage class, and seem to follow the basic rule of many RPG’s in that the higher level a mage is the less clothing they need to wear. Hence the reason for the level caps, we don’t want any naked mages running about, think of the children.
Little Miss Mage is 1/8 scale and stands in at 22cm tall with a retail of 6,800 yen. She is up for preorder at Play-Asia, Hobby Search and Kid Nemo. I’m liking the looks of this one with lots of detailed trim to the outfit and weapon. Which is going to be hard to pull off in production but Goodsmile is usually up to the task. Another plus is she definitely doesn’t suffer from fugly base syndrome which is nice to see.

Preordered, I have a weakness for the color blue, and GSC did a good job on the sample and should be able to pull through with the final on this one.

Beautiful figure except for the odd color on one leg… Nice to see them put something into the base design.
I think the left is suppose to have some kind of stocking or something on it. There is some kind of design on the outer thigh not real sure of the meaning as I don’t play the game.
I noticed that little pattern. Everything else about this figure is so well matched… will have to see about budget and what else is coming out then.
