While the big otaku blogs are covering Wonder Festival 2008. I’ve been trolling around seeing what I can find on the figure manufactures sites, when I came across this. Coming out from Mega House in Ocotber is the first of two Miss China figures. Miss China is from the anime/manga series Spirit of Wonder one of my favorite shows that proves anime can be very different from what most Americans see on TV.
The first to come out is Miss China in the blue dress. Listed on Mega House’s site as Excellent Model Core and has a list price of 5,985 yen. Then out in November is the second Miss China in the red dress. Listed as Excellent Model Limited and with list price also at 5,985 yen. By the looks of the pic over at Kid Nemo the Red ver. may be castoff enabled, but since my Japanese is weak I can’t tell for sure. Anybody got better details?
So far I’ve found the Red ver up from preorder at HLJ, Play-Asia and Hobby Search. The blue ver is up at Kid Nemo, Play Asia, and Hobby Search.
