When it comes to Geek Rock I don’t there is any greater band then They Might Be Giants. Oddly enough my introduction to They Might Be Giants was in the Tiny Toons cartoons, (See video below.) and some of the songs from the album Flood played a role in one of my favorite Mercides Lankey books Chrome Circle. They Might Be Giants’ songs are a strange mix of catchy pop tunes with lyrics that make you think that you have got to be misunderstanding what he just said.
