Futurama: Bender’s Game
The third of the four planned Futurama films comes out on DVD November 4th, just in time for the holiday season. Bender’s Game (an nod towards Card’s Ender’s Game) looks to be a spoof of Dungeons and Dragons as well as Peter Jackson’s version of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. By the looks of the trailer, somehow after the Space Demolition Derby Fry and the crew get transported to a Fantasy world. With Leela is a centaur, the Professor is a wizard, Amy as the queen of the “Water Nymphos”, and Bender as a Knight. Also a some point Fry and Mom get turned in to Dragons. Guest Stars will include George Takei and Rich Little as their own heads in jars. The forth and final planned film Into the Wild Green Yonder is currently planned to come out next April.
This reminds me I still need to pick up The Beast With a Billon Backs.
