Review: Alpha x Omega’s Alice
Well I meant to get this up earlier today but ended up falling asleep while watching TV and ended up taking a two hour nap. Guess I haven’t gotten use to my new shift a work yet.
Alice’s shoot didn’t turn out all that good while there are some nice shots in the set overall it’s lacking. I was having some lighting issues that I didn’t notice at first so some shots are to bright while others are too dark. I’m chalking it up to being a bit on the tired side when I was doing the shoot and got lazy with the set up.
Waring :Alice is cast-off so some of the pic after the cut are NSFW.
Alice is the second to last figure that I’m going to be getting for a while. There is one more on pre-order then that’s it until the budget recovers from other priorities.
Production Alpha X Omega’s production of Alice is very good with no mold lines and she even lacks the normal hair seam that all figures seem to have. The pose is taking right out of her Queen’s Gate combat book. The paint job is very good as well with shading in all the right places thou I think the knife/guns could have been a bit more glossy/metal looking. The cast off is a bit difficult to remove and put back one. The two pins that lock the dress together are not glued in and end up switching side when I removed it for the second time for the photo shoot. It had to be removed during the unpacking as a layer of plastic is place between the dress the figure for shipping. The knife/guns where also very difficult to get into her hands, I was afraid to use to much force in fear of breaking a finger.
She looks to be sold out most every where so if you want your own look like you’ll have to hope they do a reissue. To tie you over you can always pick up her Queen’s Gate book.
