I thought that I would mix it up a bit with this week’s SDF. No Anime charters this week, instead we have a piece by Canadian via Singapore Vector Artist and Illustrator, Charlene Chua aka Sygnin on DeviantArt. What fascinates me about Sygnin’s art is most of her work is done in Illustrator a vector drawing program and yet can lots of detail and can look painted. She also has a wide range of style, from the almost gritty look of Beaches above to the more simplistic look of the Julie Black Belt picture book. You can check out more of her work both at her DevArt page and at her own website and sketch blog.
For those of you who really like the Beaches image and would like one of your own to hang on the wall, Sygnin is selling prints in both an unlimited edition via the DevArt store and in a signed limited edition via her Etsy Store.

Nice work… thanks for the links
