Well it seem that none of the rumors were true about the MacWorld Keynote. There was no iPhone Nano, no new Mac Mini, no Mac Network Storage, no Mac Netbook. What we did get was a new iLife and iWork, a new 17in MacBook Pro with (thank god) a non glossy screen, but you will have to pay $50 extra to get it.
The news that I like the most is that by the end of the year the iTunes library is going to be part of the iTunes Plus DRM Free catalog by the end of March. Also iTunes will be moving to a three tier, $0.69, $0.99, $1.29, price structure. Which is good new, because as we all know DRM SUCKS.
So all in all not the shock and awe of some past keynotes but anytime DRM gets kicked to the curb is a good day.
