It’s been one of those days where if you didn’t like the weather just wait five minutes. Was sunny and calm this morning, then the wind picked up and it got a bit chilly. Rained for a bit, cleared up around dinner time. Then clouded up again and that’s when the thunder and lighting started. There was even some hail south of town, a few places end up with several inches of the white little balls.
The bad thing is that the sever stormy weather can play hell with my internet connection. I’m on a wireless broadband service because neither the phone company nor the cable company offer service in my area. The problem is that the frequency that they use for the connection are really susceptible being blocked by dense storms. Kind of like what happens to digital satellite when it rains or snows heavily. So I ended up losing internet twice for about 10 to 20 minutes each time. Nothing major if it weren’t for the fact that my mom telecommutes and when the internet goes down she looks to me to fix it.
