Even thought I can afford any figures at the moment, yea I still don’t have a job, I still cruise around the figure sites every now and then. So was on Goodsimles site when I saw this vision of goodness. Canaan is from the anime ‘Canaan’ which is base on the visual novel 428: F?sasareta Shibuya de. Canaan is slated to come out in January of next year. She leaps in at 1/8 scale and 20cm in height with a retail price of 8,800 yen. So far I’ve only seen her up for preorder at Hobby Search but I’m sure the rest of the usual suspects will have her soon.
All I can say about this one is wow, it has to be the most dynamic pose I’ve seen in a figure in a long time. That combined with the fact she does not suffer from fugly base syndrome at all. The cape blowing off is just added bonus. I haven’t seen the anime my self yet but it is in my download queue.
This Canaan figure is indeed lovely, there’s also 1/8 scale Alphard (from the same series) that’s currently in production.
Canaan’s one of the good series this Summer season, I recommend that you start watching it

The Alphard figure is looking nice too together they would be a great match set.

I’ve seen the first three episodes so far and I’m really liking it. They’re doing a great job of dealing out the backstory, enough to keep you interested but not rushing to tell it all.
