Well even with the new job the budget still can’t handle any figure purchases, but that doesn’t stop me from looking. The last figure that I covet is the matching figure to Goodsmile’s Canaan that I talked about a couple of months ago.
Alphard is Canaan’s nemesis in the series, not only was she trained by Canaan’s mentor but she later killed him in front of Canaan, thus earning her wrath. Alphard is slated to come out in March of 2010 and will retail at 8,800 yen. At 1/8 scale she leaps in at a approx. 20 cm tall. Like the Canaan figure that is coming out next month she has a very dynamic pose, as she is in the middle of a running gun fight with someone, it could well be Canaan.
She is up for preorder from HLJ, Hobby Search, and Kid Nemo. Play-Asia doesn’t have her up for preorder yet but does have a cute Nendoroid version up for sale.
