Well the night time at Maker Faire 2008 not only brought fire but also Abney Park. If you’ve read my blog before your sure to know that I am a big Abney Park fan, and they are 50% to 70% of the reason I went to Maker Faire.

At this years Maker Faire there was a strong Steampunk contingent. With Jake vonSlatt of the Steampunk Workshop, Abney Park, Libby Bulloff of Exoskeletoncabaret, Magpie Killjoy of Steampunk Magazine and others making an appearance.

Well the trip to Make Fair was a lot of fun. Took about three hour to get down to the hotel in Burlingame. After we checked in we headed over to the San Mateo Fair Grounds, and that’s were things went a bit south. The Hotel is a bit over seven miles from the Fair [...]

Off to the Fair. Make Fair that is I’ve gotten up early and I’m off to San Mateo Fair Grounds. It’s going to be a long day 3 hr drive then all day at the Fair. With the Abney Park Concert not starting till 2030hrs. There is going to be a large Steampunk contingent there [...]

Well the tickets have been bought and the hotel booked, so I will be in the Bay Area on the weekend of May 3rd to attend Make Faire and to see Abney Park in concert. So anyone know a good Japanese Restaurant in San Mateo?
